Our Story
It was January of 2023 when we, two strangers at the time and two states apart made the decision to finally create a Catholic Match profile. Neither of us exactly dreamed of meeting THE ONE on a dating app. But little did we know what God had waiting for us if we just approached this with a humble, open heart.

It was March 21st, 2023 when Thomas casually decided to open the app to see what profiles showed up under the day’s birthdays. Sure enough, Vivianna’s profile popped up. But back when she first set up her account, she was hesitant to put her actual birth date, so she did what any skeptical person does online: put a fake one.
A door that almost closed.
Thomas being the gentleman that he is, reached out with the most genuine and flatteringly personal message a lady could receive on a dating app. And sure enough, he received a response. With a gentle rejection…
Vivianna liked Thomas, but she was unsure about the idea of a long distance relationship. She told Thomas how she felt, but decided that she was open to continue talking.
And he took that opportunity.

That very first Facetime call one Thursday evening became daily Facetimes and texts throughout the day. Two months after meeting online, they met in person and found things to be even better. They had only been together in person for 1 hour before Thomas met her parents. One month later, Vivi flew out to Texas to meet his folks and later, to Florida to meet some of his friends.
The rest is history.
From two states apart, to two hours away.
Thomas already had in interest in working at Edwards AF Base and was set to move there or after his time at Canon AFB. Sure enough, God planned for and he received orders to move to Southern California. And spent weekends visiting her.
“Yes”
Thomas proposed 1 year later, in front of the Blessed Sacrament on March 19th: The Feast Day of St Joseph, Vivianna’s birthday, and their 1 year anniversary of first meeting online.
